Freestyle Sliding is another highly technical field of skating that involves speed to perform sliding tricks on flat surfaces. Each trick requires a minimum of 1 metre in distance to be considered as a successful 'slide'

Hey all! A few more admin matters to settle!

Firstly, EVERYONE is please check the following for more information

No way that you can miss anything! We are extending to almost all modes of communication to spread the news!

Second, this concerns the publicity of the skate clinic

• Date: 19 Jan - 22Jan (Tuesday to Friday)
• Time: About 11am to 5pm

Everyone, please send Toshi, Gabriel or me (Daryl) your available time slots and your preferred date to help. Everyone is to help on a minimum of 2 days, 1 hr minimum. We need Everyone's help to publicize the clinic. Unless you have valid reason, all MUST come down to help. We'll try our best to allocate the time slots to your preference...

Note: This skate clinic publicity will determine who is still part of the Skate IG. If you want to be still considered as a skater in TP Skate IG, please come and help.

Thirdly, Everyone, please let us know if you are still interested in continuing on to be part of the Group. The number of inactive people are on the rise and we sincerely seek your cooperation to tell us if you really want to stay on in this group. We don't want to hassle you if you are not interested anymore. Please contact Toshi directly via email or SMS (his email is on the profile page) to let him know. Those who are still interested, please make an effort to turn up on a regular basis. (need not every training, but make yourself known in our group) Cos we have issues where some just turned up once and disappeared into god-knows-where.

Fourthly, Skate clinic is on the 29th Jan. I know most of us are handling projects and have exam preps and all, but We appreciate that those who agreed to help, please come, and those who are not, we still gladly invite you to join and help us out. Did I mention that SEAL points are given to those who help us out?

Lastly, this concerns about the future skate IG events.
A few suggestions we have to increase the excitement

• Mini monthly competitions (both Slalom and Slides)

The Aim is to show where the level you are at now compared to the rest. Participation is not compulsory, and more details will be given on a later date. It's just a friendly.

• More frequent Urban Skating Event

Probably this is the hot fav by most of the regulars; right now the event is held once or twice a year?

• Mini games?
