Note that participants that took part in couple relay is not allowed to take part in hunter's game and vice versa. Actual rules will be told on that actual day itself. We need people to participate in this event for 2 reasons.
Firstly, not to promote Hvper, but to actually promote our skate club to the community. As you see from the games itself, there is no slide nor slalom freestyle involved, but just some other random activities without the use of skates, except 1 or 2 events. What we really want to get out from this event is awareness.
Secondly, we are working on the issue of SEAL points for attendance for regulars, that is a benefit for us, and one way to boost our records is to participate in this event. The event maybe unrelated to skates but if our club shows that we are one group of active people and there are regulars coming, this will boost our records and the push to be a CCA is easier!
If you are wondering, why are we so concerned about getting the club to be a recognised CCA or at least a recognised IG? We want to thank the regulars for turning up regularly to support our club and in numbers. A way to thank them is to award SEAL points for attendance but this is only given for CCAs. In addition, TP do award some prizes or certs to the best sportsman or smth, so why not try?
Okay to sum up, we are looking at this event to boost our 'portfolio' to show something that we may be smaller in size, but we are as active. Winning this event is good too, especially the CCA open house is coming around the corner in end April. Yes it's that fast!
