Hi all! Guess you all have been with us for about 2 weeks going 3 for some of you, though there is a couple of you guys who are still relatively new with us. Hope you enjoyed skating with us :D
Okay having said all that, I'm sure you find some stuffs that needs improvement and all, rest
assured we are working on it.
Alright. 2 announcements to be settled.
FundsWe're initiating a fund for our club. Yes, we will asking for funds directly or indirectly from you.
Hence, rentals will be $5 per skates.
You can purchase guards for your own use @ $15 per set if you are concerned about hygiene.The extra $2 will go straight to the funds. Rest assured that the money collected will not be pocketed by any of us. It will be going to be put into use for many events and improvements coming up this semester.
Okay, if you still feel cheated, here is the list of improvement and upgrades we WILL be having as soon as we have enough money.
- Upgrade to the training grounds. The cracks and holes will be patched up. We may also smoothen some areas for sliding as well as for slaloming. permanent markings will also be done for slaloming purpose.
- Funds for chalets and outings (One is coming up in the coming holiday, keep an eye on here.)
- Purchase of drinks and mini refreshments for every training for everyone.
- Prizes for mini games and events.
Whose free on 15 May?As stated, whose free on 15 may? We're having our first inter-poly skate event. Rest assured that there is no sliding or slaloming involved. Only basic skating or games involved.
I'm asking whoever is free on 15 may to sign up for this event. Send your names to Toshi or Daryl.
