Hi all.. Another short post before the Big day. I know by now some of you are getting the WTF or FML or regretful feeling taking part. For most of us it's our first comp. Like I mentioned to some of you earlier, take this as an experience. From there, work on whatever you need and train hard for Rookie comp 2011. This will be our main goal. However, that aside, I want to bring up a point here. In the past 2-3 months, I'm sure some of you start to feel the intensity of the training. Let me remind you that skating is not just about competing and sponsorship. The fundamental rule is still the passion and joy in the sport. Lose this and whatever you do is nothing worth.
There have been feedbacks about an increase in politics and gossips in the past months. As such, I don't wish to bring up names nor mention anything. I know who are you and you know it yourself. I hope to see a change in the attitude towards each other. We are not individuals in this club. We are one team altogether. There is no such thing as you are better than me, or I'm from this, I don't care the rest. If you are in the club, you have to put in that little effort to spare a thought and care for others. I'm not arrowing anyone, but I'm posting this as a general thing. Because from what I've seen and the feedback I have received, this issue is getting out of hand. Neither do the Alumnis, yr3s and myself want to see the club spirit crumble because of some internal conflict or politics.
Don't ask me what happened and why I post this. I just feel that I have to step into this matter already. And no, I'm not pissed off while writing this :D
TP skate SNFC participants, all the best for your comp, no one is to fall below my ranking..
