Okay serious note here. I've received feedback and personally seen some of you are just wasting your time away. I want to point out that though TP skate has lesser commitment level than other CCAs, we still expect some level of commitment and effort in your training. When in training, show some commitment and interest and not sit at a corner for the waiting for attendance to be taken.
I won't allow anyone to clock the required attendance for SEAL points and not commit to the training or activities the committee and skaters try to implement.
I am not joking about this. If you are just sitting there to wait for the attendance, you might as well just go home. If you are here in skate club, at least give yourself and your skates some respect and USE them. Skates ain't cheap! Use them for their value and not just to show off.
Worse still I see people coming for 15 minutes and ask for attendance and leave. Hello? You don't own the place.
As part of the committee's decision, I have every right to reject your attendance if I don't see you committing to the training. I understand that school life can be an ass, and please inform any of the committee beforehand or in your next attendance so we can understand your situation. I apologize if this post sounded offensive or too serious. I meant it that way. You know who I'm referring to and you know yourself. Step up your attitude towards your commitment or I'll step it up for you.
Side note:
Saturday training:
Saturday trainings will resume @ Elias Mall on the following Saturday, 4th Dec 2010 from 10.30am. Bring sunblock. If raining, training will be canceled until I find a suitable wet-weather ground. (This is open to all, but training is more suited for slalom/slides only.)
Committee members:
in the light of the topic on this post, please look out for such people and take their names down. If they do not change their attitude towards their commitment, you can remove their name from the attendance list.
Also, please start planning for open house and CCA open house and some EOY activities/ gatherings if anyone have suggestion, see if it is feasible. Toshi, and I will be planning for a camp for next year's orientation and an urban skating session after our SIP end.
